Zhang Xian (Shanghai, 1955), script and director. Zhang Xian is a prominent figure in the Shanghai art scene and a man of many talents. He is a well known playwright, screenplay and script writer with many plays and films to his name. He is also a renowned director and activist in the field of theatre and film. In addition to this he works as curator & organizer of experimental arts events in Shanghai as he has a passion for exploring new themes, art forms and frontiers.
